Gainesville Marina's dedicated Service Department is here to help keep you on the water, enjoying your cruiser, deck boat, pontoon, bow rider, or center console all year long. Whether you need a simple oil change or major repairs, our factory-certified technicians will get the job done right the first time, minimizing any downtime.

As your full-service Atlanta boat dealer, Gainesville Marina has two fully staffed service shops. One shop is dedicated solely to the warranty repair and maintenance of new boats that were purchased from our sales department. The second service shop is dedicated to all other boaters and marina tenants. Both shops have the state-of-the-art equipment that today's boats and motors require.

Our technicians are certified in Berkshire Pontoons. We have a wide variety of parts and accessories in stock for quick repairs. If you have a part or accessory that needs to be ordered, our quick order system ensures a quick turnaround. At Gainesville Marina, we have top factory-trained technicians on duty during all business hours.

Common Services & Prices:

20 Hour Service includes:

  • Change engine oil & filter.
  • Check engine motor mounts.
  • Check idle speed & adjust.
  • Check condition and tension of belts.
  • Check hoses and exhaust system for leaks.
  • Tighten all hose clamps.
  • Check throttles linkage.
  • Check shifting.
  • Check bellows.
  • Retorque outdrive.
  • Top off all fluids.
  • Check steering and lubricate.
  • Check fuel lines.
  • Check props for damage & wear and retorque.

Tune-up for all size engines includes:

  • Add fuel system cleaner.
  • Change spark plugs.
  • Change distributor cap.
  • Change rotor button.
  • Check spark plug wires.
  • Check timing.
  • Adjust idle mixture.
  • Check throttle linkage.
  • Clean flame arrestor.
  • Change fuel/water separator.

Seasonal Service includes:

  • Change engine oil and filter.
  • Replace fuel filter.
  • Check engine motor mounts.
  • Check idle speed and adust.
  • Check electrical system for corrosion and damage.
  • Check condition and tension of belts.
  • Check hoses and exhaust system for leaks.
  • Tighten all hose clamps.
  • Check throttles linkage.
  • Change outdrive oil.
  • Grease engine to drive coupler.
  • Check bellows.
  • Remove outdrive and check engine alignment.
  • Check and Grease gimbel bearing and U-joints.
  • Grease coupler.
  • Check splines on outdrive.
  • Retorque outdrive.
  • Pull prop and grease prop shaft.
  • Check shifting.
  • Check battery with load meter and connections.
  • Top off all fluids.
  • Check steering system and lubricate.
  • Check anodes.
  • Check prop for damage.
  • Check fuel lines.
  • Add fuel system cleaner.

Replace Impeller for all Alpha drives includes

  • Replace impeller and check for water flow.
